SPARK Award
Since 2019, this award has been rewarding science teachers who are increasing student engagement and achievement through innovative lesson plans that emphasize both the importance and fun aspects of science.
About SPARK Award
Spark Award Application is Now Open
Each year we choose 6 finalists from across the state of Texas to see who our 2025 SPARK Award winner will be!
- The overall winner will receive: $3,500 personal award, plus $500 toward their classroom
- The other five finalists will receive: $1,300 personal award, plus $500 toward their classroom
Guidelines:
- Must be a full-time science elementary teacher at an accredited Texas school
- Must complete application form and include a video
- Must be able to attend award ceremony
- Being active on social media, especially LinkedIn is a plus!
